We are Reclaiming Therapy as a Space of Liberation.
Jubilee was built to challenge everything traditional mental healthcare gets wrong; the cold clinical walls, the rigid insurance mandates, and the feeling that you have to shrink yourself to get help.

Decolonized Care,
Rooted in Community & Joy.
The word Jubilee stands for liberation, restoration, and celebration. In a system that often treats therapy like a transactional commodity or an assembly line, Jubilee is designed to feel like a block party: warm, bold, communal, and deeply intentional.
We exist to serve communities that have historically been priced out, spoken over, or let down by traditional healthcare—Black and Brown folks, the LGBTQ+ community, neurodivergent minds, chronic illness warriors, and trauma survivors.
Unlearning "Bad Therapy"
with Tia Hunter.
Hi, I'm Tia Hunter (she/her). I built Jubilee after years of running an insurance-based virtual practice. While my clients and I did incredible work together, I constantly found myself fighting against a rigid medical system that forced diagnostic labels onto people just to justify basic human care.
Jubilee is my answer to that broken system. By moving to a direct-pay collective, I’ve eliminated the insurance red tape so we can focus entirely on what actually helps you heal. Whether that’s a 75-minute somatic EMDR session, writing a gender-affirming procedure letter without extra fees, or utilizing guided pathways outside of session hours.
When you land here, I want you to feel like you were invited somewhere good, and that there is plenty of room for you to be your fullest, most complicated self at Jubilee.

"Neurons that fire together, wire together."
Healing isn't reverse psychology, it’s neuroplasticity. Active healing requires active participation. When we build new practices together, we literally re-wire your brain for safety, ease, and long-term liberation.
